As if the trouble surrounding Kuselan is not enough, P Vasu's house was mobbed by protesters yesterday alleging that he has shown barber's in a poor light in the movie. To clear the air over this issue, Vasu has released a press statement that he was shocked and deeply hurt with the incident. The director, in his statement, also said that he did not receive any show cause notice from any associations in this regard, which is usually the practice. "This protest has come as a bolt out of the blue and I was taken aback by that," Vasu added. Vadivelu's character was portrayed in this movie as a fraudulent barber and there are even scenes of him receiving warning from the cops for his behavior.
