Intel fires another processor, the QX9650 which is a quad core processor. It is based on the 45nm manufacturing process, which is the key differentiator between the QX6850 and QX9650. We already know that QX6850 is built on the 65 nm manufacturing process.
The QX9650 runs at 3 GHz, with 1333 MHz FSB and is well supplemented with a cache of 6 MB per die. So a total of 12 MB which is 2 MB more than the QX6850. Intel has also introduced 47 new instruction sets in the form of SSE4.
In Sciencemark the QX9650 shows a nearly 10 percent performance improvement over the older QX6850, except in cryptography, which is affected by clock speed.
Price hasn't been announced yet but it is expected to be around 50,000 Rs.
