Spelling Bee is a competition in the US where the participants, usually children are asked to spell English words. Sameer Mishra, a 13-year-old from Indiana, won the annual U.S. spelling bee late yesterday, beating out other top students who grappled with strange and arcane polysyllabic words. This was the 81st Scripps National Spelling Bee competition held in Washington. The champion won 30,000 US dollars and many other prices after winning the competition. These prices were sponsored by E.W.Scripps and co.
