Nadal won the French Open for the fourth consecutive time, equaling the record of Borg. The final between Nadal and Federer was expected to be a thriller, but it turned out to be a one sided affair in the end. Nadal dominated the game right from the beginning till the end. He never gave a chance for Federer to rock back. Nadal won the match in straight sets beating Federer 6-1,6-3,6-0 to win the French Open title. Federer played one of the worst games of his life by committing almost 50 unforced errors. Nadal proves to be the king of clay court.
