England in command!!!
The first test between England and South Africa is being played at Lords. South Africa won the toss and fielded first in what looked to be a belter of a wicket. They started off bravely with openers Cook and Strauss putting a hundred run partnership. Suddenly from 114 for 0 they slipped to 117 for 3. South Africa would have thought they were in with a chance. But there they were mistaken. The two most beautiful innings from the two most gifted players saw England in command. Pieterson made 152 and Bell made 199. Late cameo by Broad(76) saw England reach a mammoth 593. South Africa are in with a tough task and they are currently at 7 for no loss..
