Match ends in a draw

South Africa fought hard to avoid defeat at the hands of England. South Afrrica which was following on after collapsing to Monty’s spin bowling played defensively for two days to avoid defeat at the hands of England. Their cause was helped by cautious centuries from Graham Smith and Neil Meckenzie. Hashim Amla also contributed the cause with a patient fifty.
