South Africa finally finished the match with a draw. Hasim Amla did everything to ensure that they would draw the test. Amla went to notch up his fifth test hundred. South Africa had been in tatters in the first innings but fought back hard with centuries from Graham Smith, Neil Mckenzie, and Hasim Amla. South African players showed great resolute and courage to hang for two complete days to win the match.
