The tri series in Scotland, between Scotland, Ireland and New Zealand is already in the record books. The match between New Zealand and Ireland was played yesterday. New Zealand batted first and scored a mammoth 402 for 2 in their alloted 50 overs. Centuries from both the openers Marshall and McCullum helped New Zealand reach this score. Then came the turn of Ireland to bat and as expected they were never in the race. They were bundled out for just 112 runs which gave New Zealand a victory margin of 290 runs. This created history as no team has won by this huge margin in cricketing history.
