New Zealand taking heavy toll on Ireland's inexperience!
Little did anyone realize that there was a tri-series going on in Scotland which involved Scotland, Ireland and New Zealand. The tournament started today with a match between Ireland and New Zealand. New Zealand were put into bat and they made great use of this opportunity. Both the openers Marshall and McCullum scored heavily. They took heavy toll on the inexperienced bowling attack of Ireland. They both added 266 runs in which McCullum scored 163 runs which involved 10 sixes and 11 fours. On the other end James Marshall scored a brilliant 159 to lead their team to a mammoth score of 394 for 2.. Ireland are still to bat....
