There was a very disastrous earthquake in China which took place on the 12th of May. It was reported that the earthquake measured a magnitude of 7.9 on the Richter scale. A maginitude of 7.9 is considered to be severe. It has been reported that around 15,000 people have lost their lives and many are still caught up somewhere underneath the buildings. The rescue operations are still on and it is too early to predict the death toll in China. Lets wait and pray that many people are rescued.
