Firefox has been the most preferred web browser. The latest release of Firefox, Firefox 3 was much anticipated. It is good news that the product is all set for release. The new Firefox version will surely be faster, secure and easy to use than the earlier versions.
The new address bar begins searching the user’s bookmarks and web sites history for matches as soon as an address begins to be typed in.
Both history window and the bookmarks window are displayed together in an Structured Query Language (SQL) database. Apart from this several new features have been added like dragging and dropping a URL from the history to the bookmarks folder. The memory management and speed have also been improved. This product gained a 71 out of 100 on Acid 3 test falling short of Safari 3.1 by just 4 points. The requested changes have been made to this version of Firefox and is modified to suit all user interfaces like Vista, XP, Mac OS X and Linux.
