The much hyped Montevina Intel Centrino 2 mobile chips will not be released as scheduled on July 14th. It has been delayed to due to some technical problems and certification problems. The next phase of the release will take place in August. The technical problems include a problem with Wi-Fi wireless standard. The delay will give its competitors an edge in the race as Advanced Micro Devices with Puma is about to be launched.
