England won the second Test Match against NewZealand at Old Trafford by 6 wickets. It was the 4th day of the test match between England and NewZealand and England needed a target of 294 to win. England continued their 4th day from the overnight score of 72 for 1. Both Vaughan and Strauss played cautiously and took the score past 100. Vaughan played well for his 48 before he was dismissed by Martin. England were sitting pretty at 150 for 2. Strauss carried on his good work and reached his century. After his departure for a score of 106, Pieterson, Collingwood and Bell sealed the victory for England. Panesar was named the man of the match for his brilliant 7 wickets in the match.
