In order to protect the people from inflation the TamilNadu government has urged hotel owners to slash the prices of common items like idlis, dosas and pongal. The hotel owners however felt that this move will be impossible because the essential commodities to prepare these items are costly. So unless the government brings down the cost of such items, the lowering of prices isn't possible, this is what the hotel owners felt. Hotel owners have decided to hold a meeting on behalf of this issue. They believe that this rule might be enforced on them if they do not accept the government's plea.
